    Exhibitor Statements therapie Leipzig 2019

Frei AG Aktive Reha-Systeme: High-quality Contacts

Rainer Reusch, Head of Sales and Marketing at Frei AG: "We are counting therapie Leipzig as a success. We filled our appointment books and established numerous high-quality contacts. In addition to a great demand for our couches, we generated a great deal of interest in medical personal training products and equipment, due to the growing market for individuals and private customers. Even small practices are now realising the demand for alternatives to impersonal fitness studios, and for complementary physiotherapeutic treatments with high-quality training. For this reason, discussions at our trade fair stand frequently turned to the furnishing of smaller rooms, measuring around 20 square metres. Demand came not only from urban regions, but increasingly from rural areas. The next therapie Leipzig is already firmly in our calendar."

HUR Deutschland GmbH: Competent and Diverse

Thomas Lampart, Managing Director of HUR Deutschland GmbH: "therapie Leipzig lived up to all of our expectations. Our significantly larger stand was worth it - you have to present yourself accordingly to be noticed. Our new Senso product for geriatric cognitive-motor strength training was a particular draw for the public. The combination of fitness, physiotherapy and geriatrics has been recognised by many physiotherapists as a future market: The demand for training equipment that specifically targets older customer groups was evident at therapie Leipzig. Particularly for younger practice owners, an equipment training room is now a staple of clinical equipment. We will be back in two years. therapie Leipzig not only boasts a high-calibre exhibition, but also a competent and varied congress and workshop programme."

Ludwig Artzt GmbH: Successful in Every Respect

Philipp Artzt, Managing Director, Ludwig Artzt GmbH: "therapie Leipzig's anniversary event was a great success for us. We enjoyed a large number of visitors, excellent discussions, and a high-quality congress programme - the event scored well in every respect. The perfect combination of exhibition and conference once again offered companies from the industry an ideal platform to effectively showcase their latest products and innovations to the public. The integration of therapy and fitness continued this year, and interest in medical fitness products maintained growth. This was reflected at our stand: We brought the Wonderwall, which is an extension of our PT Room training room concept. This allows even small practices to be efficiently integrated - and a large number of physiotherapists at the trade fair took the opportunity to try out the wall's many training options. We are already looking forward to the next therapie Leipzig!

    Nitzbon AG: Comprehensive Consultation

Petra Nitzbon-Grimberg, Executive Board, Nitzbon AG: "We once again used therapie Leipzig to provide comprehensive information on our product range and we enjoyed some very fruitful discussions. A good mix of new customers and partners from rehabilitation facilities who already knew our company and wanted to find out more about further developments came to our stand. Our focus was on occupational rehabilitation ("MBOR - medizinisch-beruflich orientierte Rehabilitation"), as well as on participation and independent living. Health providers are pushing these fields, and clinics have to position themselves accordingly and will require new therapy equipment - this was also evident at therapie Leipzig. We'll be back in two years' time".

    opta data group: Great Response

Sebastian Cordes, Sales Manager for Medicines, opta data Group: "We've been attending therapie Leipzig from the beginning, and are delighted that this event has become a national platform for the industry. The quality of discussions was especially high this year, and the atmosphere was, as always, very pleasant. The ever more dynamic changes to health services through digitalisation were also apparent at the trade fair. Our combination of billing and clinical software was met with a great response, and our nine exhibition spaces were always crowded. We expect the trade fair to pay off once again with extensive follow-up business and demand for our consulting services. The 10th anniversary of therapie Leipzig was an all-around success. Last but not least, our anniversary campaign competition, with a trip to Paris as the main prize, was a big hit. We will be there again in two years!"

Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA: Co-operation to Deliver Higher Quality Care

Ines Stitz, Therapy Officer, Ottobock SE & Co. KGaA: "Our first time at therapie Leipzig, we have set a new benchmark for cooperation between orthopaedic technology, physiotherapists and occupational therapists. Because prostheses and orthoses are becoming increasingly complex, direct communication between therapists as part of interdisciplinary teams is becoming more and more important; without targeted physiotherapy and occupational therapy training, many patients would not be able to use their aids optimally, and high-quality care would not be possible. We were very pleasantly surprised by the response to our presentation, which led to many in-depth discussions. In particular, the live demonstrations with five patients at our stand were very positively received. Our seminars at the congress on the treatment of the lower and upper extremities were also very well attended. We were pleased to observe numerous students taking an interest in our products. Our participation at therapie Leipzig was not a one-off, we'll be back."

PINO Pharmazeutische Präparate GmbH: Exceeding Expectations

Björn Kopenhagen, Managing Director, PINO Pharmazeutische Präparate: "therapie Leipzig lived up to its reputation as the leading trade fair for the industry in Germany, and far exceeded our expectations. The larger exhibition space paid off, and visitors were very keen to invest, even more so than in previous years. We sold our products to practice owners throughout Germany, from St. Peter Ording to Munich. We took orders not only for consumables but also for investment products like therapy couches. We took more orders than ever before. The Friday was both the best, and most labour-intensive day we have ever had at a trade fair, and all 15 employees at the stand were very busy. The new public holiday in Berlin also helped. Similarly, payment agreements between East and West for physiotherapy services have a positive influence on the market. We are coming back to therapie Leipzig. Everyone of importance in the market is here."

ProLog Therapie- und Lernmittel GmbH: Great Atmosphere

Oliver Schmid, Managing Director, ProLog Therapie- und Lernmittel GmbH: "therapie Leipzig was once again a lot of fun. The atmosphere was great. More and more speech therapists came to this event, and both of the relevant professional associations were also there. We made a lot of successful sales, and also locked in some large orders. Due to the interdisciplinary focus, about half of the visitors at the stand were specialists in therapy for stroke patients and neurological diseases which, alongside paediatrics, is an important target group for us. We will be back in two years' time, and we definitely want to continue our successful cooperation with the Leipzig Trade Fair."

ReWalk Robotics GmbH: Workshops in High Demand

Sabine Tonye, Senior Marketing Manager for Europe, ReWalk Robotics GmbH: "Our appearance at therapie Leipzig was very successful. Our fourth time there, we were able to take many qualified contacts home. Our two exhibitor workshops were well-attended. We met physiotherapists from practices, as well as from rehabilitation clinics - important target groups for us, as they carry out exoskeleton training. We had four exoskeleton users who attracted a lot of attention. We were particularly impressed by the significant interest shown by the next generation of therapists: it is important to us that students get to know our systems early in their careers. That's why we brought our latest exoskeleton, ReStore, which is used for the early rehabilitation of stroke patients and is on the verge of market launch. We intend to continue using therapie Leipzig as a platform for our products."

Schupp GmbH & Co. KG: Worthwhile Engagement

Karin Schupp, Managing Director, Schupp GmbH & Co. KG: "Once again at therapie Leipzig we had many high-quality discussions, kick-started concrete projects and closed deals. This year we have further expanded our stand to present our entire range of recliners, as well as a new training device for medical training therapy. More than 20 consultants were on-site and they encountered an audience, who demand demonstrations of trigger treatment and taping, in co-operation with the Markus Pschick training academy. Presenting our range in its entirety paid off, and we are very content with the overall positive response, and a successful trade fair. Our comprehensive consultation, including room planning and clinical equipment, was also very well received. We were able to welcome guests from across the entire spectrum of the industry to our stand - from practice owners and representatives of large clinics and rehabilitation facilities to students, the customers of tomorrow. The interest in medical fitness has once again intensified among visitors, and the convergence of the fitness market and physiotherapy has become apparent. We will come back to therapie Leipzig, that's for sure."

Strobel & Walter GmbH: Positively Surprised

Patrick Walter, Managing Partner, Strobel & Walter GmbH: "We were very positively surprised by our company's first appearance at therapie Leipzig. Both talks and sales went swimmingly. Our testing stand was always busy, and many physiotherapists tried the Yogaboard and ordered it immediately. Additionally, we will be writing extensive offers after the fair, because we made a lot of contacts with larger rehabilitation facilities that have several centres. There was much more interest than expected and we have opened up new customer segments with the clinics. We'll be back - with new ideas."

    Wehrfritz GmbH: Multi-disciplinary Spectrum

Kathrin Pfeifer, Manager of Therapy and Nursing at Wehrfritz GmbH: "Our stand at therapie Leipzig was never empty, and the attendees were eager to make purchases. The spectrum of visitors was very diverse - speech therapists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists were in attendance, alongside numerous doctors, psychologists and nursing staff. Our entire rehabilitation team was at the fair. There was a perfect mix of visitors for our products. The attendees valued our quality and sustainable, environmentally conscious production as well as the holistic treatment. Our products aimed at improving hand motor skills, perception and action planning, as well as Fröbel's education approach, received a lot of interest. The special show 'Bewegungscenter timber' (jungle gym) was also a success, and we were delighted to see all the Facebook posts."
